You've taken the first and most important step in your decision to address your hearing loss just by reading this. There are many styles of hearing aids and degrees of technology to consider. In addition, there may be economic matters. Siemens has a solution that can help make your commitment to better hearing easier.

BASIC ISN'T JUST BASIC ANYMORE.
The digital revolution has forever changed the hearing aid industry. Even basic devices are now equipped with state-of-the-art digital sound processing.

Experiencing the exceptional sound quality of digital hearing aid technology is within your reach. Meet PHOENIX - essential digital technology at an affordable price.

PHOENIX hearing aids are designed with digital signal processing for clarity and performance. The technology is based on the same principles that make compact discs sound sharp, clear and distortion free.

PHOENIX hearing aids are available in a variety of BTEs (Behind-the-Ear) and custom styles: CIC (Completely-in-the-Canal), ITC (In-the-Canal), HS (Half-Shell) and ITE (In-the-Ear). Whatever your degree of hearing loss, PHOENIX may be a suitable solution.

All PHOENIX styles can be individually adjusted to your specific hearing needs. Your Hearing Care Professional sets the parameters for sound quality and volume; PHOENIX's smart circuitry does the rest.

PHOENIX FEATURES
Available on PHOENIX custom models is a Switchless™ T-coil (Telecoil) option to help improve your ability to hear while on the telephone. The system prevents undesirable whistling that can sometimes occur when using the telephone while wearing a hearing aid. The Switchless T-coil feature automatically switches on when used in conjunction with a hearing aid compatible telephone and switches off when you are no longer using the telephone. A manual T-coil option is available on PHOENIX BTEs and some custom models, for those who would prefer to control this feature directly.

And PHOENIX offers the convenience of soft alerting tones to inform you when it's time to change the battery.

PHOENIX BTEs have a small outlet (audio input compatibility) that can allow connection to a TV, tape recorder, radio, or other devices that assist children with hearing in the classroom. An optional audio input adapter (boot) and a variety of cords are also available.
